Alarm for terrorist attacks Intrusion in the University of Avignon (84)

The University of Avignon, located in the Vaucluse (84), is installing alert systems in its new ‶ Villa Créative ” buildings to warn and alert students and staff in the event of an emergency (fire alarms, terrorist attack or intrusion alerts, etc.)

The requirement: Following extensive construction and renovation work, as well as numerous studies and tests to draw up a comprehensive specification, the University of Avignon is seeking a radio-triggered audio and voice alert system to cover its site in order to issue warnings in the event of danger.

Acoustic assessments and presentations were carried out to evaluate the site and compare the various acoustic solutions proposed by ae&t and other firms.

The solution: Following several on-site sound tests, the University of Avignon decided to begin rolling out the solution in the Villa Créative buildings.
