Pian Del Fosse Campsite (20): multilingual alert system
A multilingual alert and evacuation system for a campground
The Pian Del Fosse campground, located in Bonifacio in Southern Corsica, contacted ae&t to install a compliant warning and evacuation system before the start of the summer season.
The requirement: To comply with Article R. 125-17 of the French Environmental Code, the Pian Del Fosse campsite must bring its audible warning system up to standard to ensure customers are informed in real time. This 5-hectare campground, with over 100 pitches, wishes to install its alert and safety equipment in less than a month, ahead of an inspection visit.
The solution: ae&t proposed a bespoke solution covering the entire 5-hectare site in the event of an alert. The T130 high-power sirens broadcast voice messages and sounds (a choice of 80 sounds) up to 130 dB. The AP3 multi-function control unit and EPRO100 voice diffusers enable public address systems with extremely audible messages, which can be recorded by the user.
The Pian Del Fosse campsite can now inform its campers directly in French, English or Italian.
ae&t’s technical hotline assisted with the installation of this solution by facilitating commissioning and message recording via remote telephone support.
In less than a month, a comprehensive and customised safety solution was installed. This new system comprises 4 high-power T130 sirens, 4 EPRO100 voice broadcasters and an AP3 control unit.
