SmartVOX® for Briane Environnement

Based in Saint-Juéry (81), Briane Environnement is a leading company in the northern Tarn region specialising in the comprehensive management of waste such as household and industrial glass, paper, cardboard, scrap metal and other metals. The company is seeking a General warning alert solution (for fires, explosions, natural or technological disasters, etc.).

The requirement:Briane Environnement occupies a site covering 40,000 m² and employs around 40 staff across its production facility, which boasts unique expertise. The ambient noise generated by the sorting centres, handling machinery and other equipment requires a powerful and customisable audible warning system to be triggered in the event of an alert.

As the existing warning system is considered obsolete, the manager has requested that the new system comprise a warning device with customisable voice and audio messages, linked to manual radio triggers installed in each of the areas to be covered: the household glass area, the crushed glass area, the machinery workshop area and the waste area.

The solution: Following a series of sound tests, 6 SmartVOX® radio voice alarms have been installed across the production site, along with 5 radio glass-break detectors and a four-button remote control.

The configuration was carried out by ae&t based on Briane Environnement’s scenarios: fire evacuation (zone-specific voice message followed by the fire alarm sound), general warning alert message, sound test alert and end of alert.
